Boxplots show mean (cross), median, interquartile range, and whiskers (defined as 1.5 times the value of the interquartile range). Orotracheal intubation time (a) was defined as the time between when the physician has the laryngoscope in hand with the light on and when the endotracheal tube is connected to a bag valve mask with inflation of both lungs during blowing air. Glottis visualization time (b) was defined as the time between when the physician has the laryngoscope in hand with the light on and when he/she visualizes the glottis. ns: non-significant
