  2. The data are presented as numbers and percentages of patients, as median and 25% to 75% interquartile range (IQR) or as mean and standard deviation (SD) as appropriate (non-normal or normal distribution respectively).
  3. *The differences between groups were analysed using chi-square test with continuity correction for categorical data and t test or Mann–Whitney test for continuous data as appropriate. No trauma related cardiac arrest patients were enrolled as by chance.
