A total of 258 physicians were eligible for enrolment in the study, of which 46 (18%) participated. Reasons why eligible physicians could not participate were numerous; e.g. participants who had already volunteered to participate were hindered in participation due to extreme workload, changes in work-schedule, exhaustion after night-duty, or alike.
